Getting your lift pass has never been so easy, Vail Resorts have automated the lift ticket process at their resorts here in Australia and wanted a fun and engaging way to show just how easy the process is. I developed some snow-going characters and a fun style that matched the Vail tone of voice. I then paired this style with some fluid transitions, tactile textures, and a lower frame rate to give the animations a slightly hand-crafted feel.

I created a small series of these animations that incorporated the brand guidelines with slightly different endings for each animation that helped to embody the vibe of each resort. I tinkered around with some playful sound design and different music to give each animation its own personal feel. I also created a suite of 9×16 versions of these assets for social.
